Outside the Box: Google’s Cracking Down on AI Cheaters

Google’s been working on something cool for AI transparency: an invisible watermark in AI text called SynthID-Text.

They’ve already applied it to 20 million responses from their Gemini chatbot, and users couldn’t tell the difference. This watermark is like a secret stamp that helps flag AI-generated content, opening the door for others to join in and tackle issues like misinformation and AI feedback loops.
